Excellent experience and location! Gorgeous home with everything needed and right across the beach. Laurie made sure we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had very quickly.

Laurie’s place was absolutely perfect! She had all the amenities we needed including a washer and dryer which was very useful with all the outdoor activities we were doing every day! The place was very clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. Laurie was very communicative throughout the entire booking process and gave us great recommendations! I couldn’t recommend this place enough! We hope to return and stay here again someday!

Wonderful location, looking out from the ground floor was magical, especially with the Xmas lights. the plants, flowers and fountains, added to the tropical feel. The condo was well stocked and Laurie was right on requests and answered quickly. Bed was comfy and for a longer stay that is essential. Nice beach chairs and cooler, everything we needed for fun at the beach which is just a short walk from the condo. made it easy to pop down for a shorter visit. We enjoyed our stay.

We have had the pleasure of staying at the Kamaole Sands property several times and have truly loved our time here. The condo is everything you would expect in a home away from home. The location is perfect as it's close to the BBQ and pool areas yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful! The grounds are immaculate!! Other things that stand out - Super clean and well appointed - Modern decor with all the comforts of home - no need to bring anything, there was even start up spices, TP etc - Beach towels, chairs and umbrella for your use. -
Ground floor access so no stairs or elevator to contend with. The bed was SO comfortable!! We didn't turn on the TV but there was lots of channels if that's your thing! Really loved that the fridge had an ice maker as we would fill our water bottles with ice and tap water ( yes, don't buy bottled water, save the planet, the water is great ) and head out for the day! Sitting on the patio with my morning coffee listening to the birds was SO peaceful and good for the soul. The in condo laundry was a bonus - makes for way less packing! Dealing with Laurie & Glen was easy and efficient, always very responsive and helpful. I can't wait to get back there for some much needed Maui time.

Great place along the shore. Our stay was very nice, with a great location and everything as described. The beach is just across the road, and you are in the middle of the whole main drag of stores and restaurants on S. Kihei Road. The whole side of the island is a walk away, and easy enough to get to most things central or upcountry on Maui. Sunsets are the best on this side! Two beach chairs, towels and an umbrella came in handy! I would feel fine hosting a larger family (then two), since the kitchen is well stocked for cooking, and there's two bathrooms and a lot of space. Overall, it's hard to beat.

We recently spent a week at this lovely condo. The unit itself is very nice. Comfy bed, nice bathrooms, spacious living area, very nice lanai. While I didn't do any cooking (I was on vacation!), I appreciated the well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the extra little touches that were hotel-like - bottles of water, small shampoos and soap, a little picture frame for us to save one of our memories.The grounds of the complex are just beautiful; I loved the orchid wall. And the location can't be beat. It's across the street from a wonderful beach park where I watched the whales lazily swim close to shore in the morning. It's within easy walking distance of several restaurants and a very short drive to even more. Kihei is a great little town! Communications with the owner were excellent! I definitely recommend staying here!

I spent a little over a week at Laurie and Glenn's condo with my mother and my 10 month old daughter. As hosts, Laurie & Glenn were very responsive to any questions we had prior to booking their unit and Laurie even assisted in coordinating the rental of several baby items for our stay. During our stay, there was a very minor issue with the sliding door, which Laurie took care of right away. The unit is in a great location and was very clean and well stocked with more than just the bare essentials. The photographs well represented the unit. The bed was very comfortable. The complex itself is meticulously maintained with gorgeous grounds and friendly staff as well as a helpful and knowledgable concierge service that provided us with a great overview of what to do during our stay. The complex is located across the street from one beach and is within walking distance to 3 other beaches as well as well as coffee shops, restaurants and other stores. It's a great area for early morning walks. We are so glad we found this unit for our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay while on the island.

It's always so hard to work out where to stay when you don't know a place - but Laurie & Glenn's place is the perfect location. Close to everything - we used the local Maui bus and walked everywhere for the first couple of days (before we got our car). It was great! The condo is perfect and the grounds are so well kept. We totally enjoyed our time on Maui and will definitely stay here again if we come back!

Exactly What Was Promised!

We absolutely loved this property. The grounds were immaculate. Easy access to BBQ, pool area and tennis courts. All were well kept and in amazing condition. We were able to walk across the street and start snorkeling. The condo was what was promised. There were beach chairs, umbrella and cooler for use. Owners were very responsive to any questions we had about the property. There was plenty of kitchen supplies for anything we wanted to make and a starter supply of laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and a few spices. Overall we loved this property and would love to book again in the future. Mahalo for the use of your amazing property!

Laurie & Glenn were great hosts. Always responded to our emails quickly and made sure we were prepared for our arrival and were very helpful with any questions we had. We really appreciated their efforts in making sure we were looked after and our vacation went smooth.
Can't say enough about their condo. We've stayed at other Kam Sands units and this one was by far the best. They had everything you'd need for cooking and plenty of extra blankets and towels. It was very clean and nicely laid out. We're a family with young children (aged 1 and 3) and we thought the unit worked out really well for the kids as well. Being on the ground floor was priceless. Made getting ready for the beach so much easier. The kids are always ready to go before the parents, so letting them out the door where you could see them walking on the grass, then finishing getting ready yourself made things so much less stressful.
Would recommend this condo to anyone and will be renting it again ourselves in the near future.

Thank you Laurie & Glenn, for an enjoyable stay in your Maui home! We could not have asked for a better accommodation as your place provided absolutely everything we needed. Your home is very clean and thoughtfully furnished and comfortable, and felt like a home away from home! The bathroom, kitchen and beach furnishings covered all the bases and more.
We enjoyed the location of the resort in South Kihei for the easy access (a 2 minute walk across the pedestrian friendly street) to beaches, restaurants, shopping and roads to take us anywhere else on Maui we wanted to visit. We also enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai every morning and the quiet garden views. To the left, we could see the ocean. The resort is maintained very well and the grounds, gardens and water features are beautiful. We also appreciated the pool being nearby (but not too near for noise) Wednesday Mai Tai parties and the availability of the bbq areas.
We liked your information notebook and we tried nearly all the restaurants and found your recommendations spot on! Also, kudos to your management couple for a quick response to a technical difficulty with the TV. In summary, we had a great vacation, would love a return visit, and would not hesitate to recommend your condo to family and friends!

I can't speak highly enough of this property.This was our first time taking a vacation with our 1.5 year old son, and needless to say, we were a bit nervous about having all the things we'd need. Laurie was so helpful in suggesting a rental company for the baby supplies we'd needed, which were there on our arrival. The condo was a great size, and luckily, the second bathroom fit a playpen perfectly so we could give our son his own space to sleep. While still having another bathroom to utilize. All the things need for cooking/eating at home were there and the suggestion list for grocery stores and restaurants was so very appreciated. We ate at several of the suggested places and weren't disappointed. Being on the first floor was such an asset, being able to let our son play outside while we drank our coffee in the morning was lovely. And a really quick walk to both the pool and the beach. The A/C in both the living room and the bedroom worked well and we only turned them on at night. Such a great place for traveling with families and we can't wait to come back.

The condo was great. So close to the beach and had everything you would need for your stay. The grounds at Kamaole Sands were perfect, so well maintained. Loved the BBQs at night after a long day at the beach and Mai Tai Wednesday at the pool area was so much fun. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Kihei is the best location in Maui for the weather and beaches, this condo only added to the fun. Would recommend and stay there again. Mahalo!

So easy to plan our trip. Laurie and Glenn made it happen. Everything available for a special birthday week. A delight to serve our dinner on the patio just steps from the grill. Across the street early in the morning for the beach walk. Bright fragranced flowers ... and the happiest birds in town wake you to a lush exotic courtyard.

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) fully enjoyed our stay! The condo was wonderful: great amenities. So convenient to have that little cooler. A lovely master bedroom with private bathroom, terrific kitchen/eating areas, and super to have that extra bathroom for the kids. Glenn and Laurie keep the place spotless, nicely decorated and thoughtfully set-up. All the instructions and info about the condo/area were also really helpful. THANK YOU! We definitely hope to come back.
